All that’s missing is a ‘Pornstar’

Cable TV’s been out for a few months now due to renovations and all, so when I do get the time for TV, I’m stuck with the local channels. But how bad could they be, I mean MTV used to show House and Art TV had CSI. But flipping through the other channels, it seems they’ve been hit by a reality show tsunami, almost every channel has its own reality show and the most annoying part, other than the bimbo’s judging them, are the names.

Every fucking thing has a star at the end; Superstar, Dancing Star, Mega Star, Loving Star, Mind Star and even a Shadow Star! What the fuck?! Where is this country’s creativity? I mean seriously? Shadow Star? LOVING STAR?!! Tasteless, truly tasteless, where is the substance in all this? What can the viewers take out of a show? education? don’t think watching someone douche impersonating Mr.Bean is very educational nor entertaining, everyone knows Rowan Atkinson rules! or what is the point of watching some bimbo whoring herself out to some actor dude, although I’m sure the whoring out happens, ‘behind the scenes’ get it? get it?…no?! fine, fail!

And then there are the judges, not naming anyone but them judging a singing competition is the equivalent of a doorman judging the engine of the year. To be fair, after watching a bit here and there, the singing and dancing is pretty good, but the rest..umm….I really don’t know what to say. I’m just saying.

  1. Got it, got it, Not fail! 😀

I have not had tv for a few weeks now, lightning 😦 Anyway if you didn’t catch it, they have shows like survivor, are you smarter than a fifth grader?, and even some thing just like wipe out :O…..I know!!! and I have seen that Jack ass of a fellow, Servin Milva judging a singing competition, wtf? It was mtv who bought this craze in 2006 i think with Yes fm radio super star. it sad, really!, to watch chaos and the best part is so many people are into it. Hope good shows like “ganga digey” and “ata pattama” will rule the scene again.

    Excellent post!

    Cheers!

  2. Haha, I know what you mean about how you can flip the channels and EACH of them will have a reality programme happening at that same timeslot. I had the grave misfortune of watching a certain programme recently and all the horrific fake drama just made me really sad. I mean, kids watch these things, they must be thinking that this is how you’d behave in real life, like real douchebags. This is one of the reasons that I hate the whole reality genre as a whole, it makes a big deal out of people being shit to each other.

Don’t get me started on Loving Star. Ewww! 😐
